Still no idea what's actually causing them?

Awesome. :)

They're actually just probably due to a simple upper-respiratory viral bug... they only appeared coincidental to the accident because that's exactly when I started asking him how his head felt every thirty seconds.

Update on my friend's cat.

She has a fractured jaw and skull. They have been reset, and will heal eventually. Since he cannot afford surgery (or the xrays for that matter, they are being very nice about it), we are going to handle her recovery the hard way. He is going to pick her up tomorrow (depending on the vet's report on her overnight stay) and picking up a feeding syringe.
Pretty much it is going to be a week of me and him trying to keep her alive.

Does anyone have any suggestions on treating the cat at home?

Note: don't worry about the SIM, I will have internet access and can spend a few minutes doing my sheets when needed.

Sounds like a good job, Z.

One tiny cavity, but otherwise my teeth are fine.

How old is your son? Could they be migraines? I started getting migraines around 12 yrs. old. I hope they find a cause for them. Also, kudos to him for progressing in the martial arts. Tae kwon do is a good one. Here in Paradise, CA., they have shotokan karate, shorin ryu karate, and kuk sul do, which is another Korean martial art. Every time I think of tae kwon do, I think of Jhoon Rhee and his 100 push-ups in 60 seconds, at 75+ yrs. old. Watch here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5RNWiMoypQ8

He's 2-1/2. He's never expressed any sign of food allergy; hasn't displayed any nausea, photophobia, unilateralism in the pain, or any other sign of migraine; and they're acute rather than chronic; so I'm tempted to believe the fact that they're related to the concurrent viral bug or symptoms thereof.

My son's dojang was founded, and is still run, by a master of tae kwon do, hapkido, and various Korean sword arts who is also a doctorate in child psychology; so the toddler classes aren't strictly tae kwon do but also include principles of hapkido and also teach ssang jeol bong (nunchaku) and staff techniques - basic tae kwon do pumsae, but also rolls and upper body close-in techniques (though the priority on kicks comes straight from tae kwon do itself.)
