Maybe he's counting the animated one?

I was thinking in terms of there being seven, not six, but good point about it referring to Trek rather than TNG.

 No, Striker's American - he didn't mean "series" as in "seasons," he meant "series" as in each different 'Trek franchise.

Actually I count my fanfic 'Where No Jedi Has Gone Before' as the sixth series. ;)

Okay, all seriousness, Seafort, Mikey is right. I mean TOS, TAS, TNG, DSN, VOY and ENT.

Not that dedicated to doing it again. There is a huge difference between VHS and DVDs in terms of space and quality. Not so much with Blu Rays.

I'm with McAvoy. I already got them on DVD. No reason for me to get blu-ray.

I tend to go for Blu-ray when I can. The colour brightness is a little bit more apparent making it a little bit easier for me to see. Not very much at all, but it helps. However, i'll be damned if I am rebuying what I already have.

When it comes to new movies I do not own, yeah I buy Blu-Ray. I have a great setup that maximizes Blu-Ray. But even DVDs looks great too.

But the difference between DVD and Blu-Ray is much smaller than the difference between VHS and DVD. Blu-Ray isn't that much different to DVDs. Both have menus and other features and they both have quality picture. Blu-Ray players constantly need to be updated to work whereas DVD players don't.

Unless TNGR has some extra stuff that I may like and the price is low enough, I am not buying them. I'll wait for the Uber-Special Edition Virtual Reality one.

They wanted Wes to get his head chopped off and Data to get fried, but budget restraints restricted them to killing Riker.
