The only ones who would really take offense are the ones to whom it applies.

I've always liked "Wind Beneath My Wings". I just bought London's Burning entire series recently, and one of the actors Steven Houghton sings the song in that as part of a talent show, he's actually really good, now I don't know which cover I like best.

I heard this on the radio while driving back from the mall and it made me smile. Yes, I am corny. ;)

Oh what can it mean to a daydream believer and a homecoming queen?"

 My kids were watching Spongebob Squarepants the other day, and after the show made a reference to "Davy Jones' locker" they actually cut to a scene of the Monkees' Davy Jones throwing socks into a locker.

Speaking of songs I recently heard on the radio that I hadn't heard in ages, the other day I caught my personal anthem.

And another blast from the past, this one more recent than the last but still back there.

I said do you speak my language? He just smiled and gave me a vegemite sandwich!
