Give a man a fire, and you keep him warm for a day. SET a man on fire, and you will keep him warm for the rest of his life...

As an odd aside, my mother actually remembers the first time I dropped an F-bomb.Mikey wrote:Wow. I think that's the first time I've seen you curse in the history of ever.
The final book had Luke Skywalker sending his niece on an assassination mission against her own brother. Her twin brother.Reliant121 wrote:

*Leans forward* I'd tell you my 'true feelings', but I'd violate the TOS.

LOL...I'd almost file for an indulgence just to hear that

I like the general idea of Legacy of the Force (very general... it has the words Star Wars on the front). But most of it infuriated me.
Heck, I can't stand most of the books that take place after RotJ.

I dont either.
Fate of the Jedi isn't that bad. It's probably the best I have seen in a long time. It also has the authors making the Mandos actually pure bad guy mercs which is nice. It's also exploring the galaxy too. But the Sith is getting old.
I do like the progression of Ben. I am wagering if the books continue after Luke dies, Ben will be considered the most powerful Jedi. But that is just me.

Naa....Luke is gonna be around for the life of the franchise. Unless they make him an Obi Wan guiding spirit......but likely the book that kills Luke is the last series they'll write

That is obvious though.
Luke is interesting if you factor in Anakin.

Father or son-in-law?

Father. And I wrote that last night while attempting to drown myself in beer. So I have no clue about that line of thought.

Re: George Lucas edits Return of the Jedi
You know, the Mandos in LOTF were badass... some of the time. Like in Revelations where they had the Sith Lord and his apprentice dead to rights and Boba pulled them back because he wanted Jaina to be the one to kill Caedus.
...
And then we have Invincible, where he punks several of them while not even breaking a sweat.
This wasn't a nine-book series. This was three trilogies welded together with spit and duct tape!

Legacy is far enough into the future that no one from the movies is alive. At least several hundred years (I think). Decent series.
