One more thing. SanDisk allow you to register your card on their website. When you do that they confirm it's a valid serial number. Obviously if the duplicators simply copy the serial number it will show up as being registered multiple times. If they try and invent numbers of their own they will also run into problems. I'm not sure if other companies allow registration.
