..That and punching anyone will do damage to your hand. At the very least you'll have scrapes and bruises on your knuckles, if you're lucky. Even experienced fights sometimes will fuck up their hands.

Yeah, while in the middle of a fight, yeah sure I can see someone not really noticing the pain and even ten minutes later, the pain is barely noticeable. It's not until you have calmed down and then it hits you like a ton of bricks. The rest of that day you are lying down on the couch with a bag of frozen peas on your face.

Unless one of them is aiming to kill the other. Its going to be a long drawn out sparring match. Which is going to be nasty. Adrenaline only lasts for so long before you begin to feel everything thats happened to you.

Not to mention how TIRING fighting is. In the fight it showed, they were still battling quite freshly after an hour long struggle. I find THAT more than a little hard to believe. We saw some blood, but nobody even sweated

The idea of two warriors of this caliber going head to head for an hour is going to be a blood bath. Pain, blood, sweat, exhaustion... The whole hour of them fighting and they're being okay was just for the sake of TV. Truth is that both would need a hospital when its over.

speaking of bare handed....did anyone else think that was a cheap shot by Ronan after Carter asked them to stop?
In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move.

Teal'c dropped his guard in a fight so its his own fault.

idk, he thought the fight was over...which it should have been: Carter was Ronan's superior officer, and Teal'c stopped b/c their friends...

Ronin's blood was still up. Thats his problem IMO.....a lack of control

In a fight that doesn't count for much if anything.

Agreed, which is why I give the edge to Teal'c.
