The Walking Dead

Post by Tsukiyumi »

New show on AMC; the pilot is on Hulu now. I think if they can keep up the quality, this could be one of the best shows on TV.

Anyone catch this yet?

I did. Very good, if a bit formulaic. Not all that many different ways to do the zombie outbreak though I guess.

A bit of an edit: apparently, they're only showing the pilot episode on Hulu. F*ckers. :bangwall:

Oh well. They don't want my ad revenue, they wont get it. I'll just wait for the DVD. :pirate:

An interesting twist on the zombie uprising idea I've seen is thru an RP game system where the 'group' is initially on a cruise ship out to sea. You gotta survive the growing zombie horde when there's initially no way to 'get away'...

That does sound cool.

When does Walking Dead come on AMC? I never watch that channel so I miss all the previews.

I've missed this show thus far, but it reminds me of a Left 4 Dead RP I saw on another site. Speaking of which, that would be an awesome RP to have on here...

Back to topic, does anyone know if this is going to be OnDemand or something like that? Hulu only has the Pilot so I have to catch up on the season somehow.

So, is anyone else watching? Season 2 is well underway and it's one of my favorite shows on television.

They've kept the quality of the first season, for sure. Damn good.

Season one was mint. I caught it while on ship.

Is the black guy and hid kid shown up in season two yet? I kept waiting for them in season 1.
What does defeat mean to you?

Nothing it will never come. Death before defeat. I don’t bend or break. I end, if I meet a foe capable of it. Victory is in forcing the opponent to back down. I do not. There is no defeat.

Funny you should ask that; I was just talking with Uzume about that yesterday.

So far, not a peep about them or their fate. :?

Still 6 more episodes this season though, I believe.

I don't know; in the comics
Sophia didn't turn into a zombie and get shot, either
