Think Your Trip To Work Is Tough?

At least you don't have to take this guy's journey.

Wouldn't want to get to the top and find out you've left your screwdriver at home.

That honestly has to be one of the stupidest things I've ever seen. Who the f*ck designed that sh*t? For the top 100 feet or so, he doesn't even have a real ladder, just some parts of the superstructure he's climbing! With no safety lines. What the hell was he even up there for? To change a f*cking light bulb?

I guess we should all be glad there are idiots desperate enough to do crap like that so that we can watch TV and have cell phones.

Apparently, I'm not the only person who thinks that is absurdly stupid. OSHA doesn't seem to like it either.

Yeah, I can tell you that in no way shape or form would OSHA EVER allow you to climb like that without a safety line. It's fucking suicidal. I do elevated work all the time and once you are more than 6 feet off the ground you are tied off 100% of the time, no exceptions.

Tell that to Uzume's last employer.

I'm quite glad to hear that this isn't the routine method of getting up those towers. The thing looked bloody suicidal.

Yeah, this guy is stretching the detach rules to utter nonsense. You're allowed to detach only if you have to in order to move to a tie off that doesn't have a safe line between. Even then you are supposed to report it so that a safe line can be installed.

I'm going to laugh if someone catches these guys.

I bet you'd laugh even harder if no-one catches them - at the bloody great hole they'd make in the deck.
