Doesn't solve the food issue. The water would just keep him from dying of dehydration. Though it could be argued that he simply didn't eat for two weeks and went back to however it is he "eats" when he gets home. The guy is getting energy somehow and I doubt its photosynthesis.

Food isn't a problem - you can survive for weeks without it, and if he fed up well before starting this fraud then he would probably get through a couple of weeks pretty easily.

However, since he's been under constant scruteny, those are exactly the kind of things that they'd be looking for.

They evidently failed, given that he's still alive.Mark wrote:However, since he's been under constant scruteny, those are exactly the kind of things that they'd be looking for.

as my friend put it when he read this story first "he definitely has something up his sleeve, probably a ham sandwich"
I agree with sc, put him in a glass box for a couple of months constantly monitored and see what happens.

Okay so gurgling water sustains him for two weeks? Doubtful but okay. How does he hide from going to the bathroom?
How many Minbari does it take to screw in a lightbulb?
None. They always surrender right before they finish the job and never tell you why.

Wait a sec, we're Trekkies. We know the answer to this!
"All this has happened before --"
"But it doesn't have to happen again. Not if we make up our minds to change. Take a different path. Right here, right now."

Solved by not eating.

Ah, but in the first few days his body would continue to expel fecal matter as his system cleared. It could take a week to expel everything from his stomach and system.
