I think in every other forum I know of, the choices are locked in. This means that people tend to make a knee jerk reaction and their eventual position could be quite different by the end of the thread.

Dude, we've had that since the board upgrade last year. :P

I agree though, it's a nice option to have. Particularly if the thread sparks a debate which changes the minds of a lot of people on the issue.

I've added a poll to this request. If you vote in the poll you will see that you can change your vote afterwords. That is because I, as the person creating the poll, turned that option on. You can also set the poll to allow people to vote for more than one option at the same time.

OK, I now see it was not a request it was praise. Fair enough, thanks (not that I did it, it's standard with phpBB 3.x).
