Also remember that the whole thing was a 'possible' future. The one that the Techno Mages were afraid of.

Remeber that Minbari and Humans can interbreed. At least those who still retain human genetic material from Valen, like Delenn. Sheridan and Delenn will have a son, David.

Do you guys think that any Human/Minbari offspring will be the descendants of them both that will move on to become like the First Ones? They'll stave off genetic stagnation longer than any other race. There was talk about a Minbari migration of souls. This is probably an allusion to a decline in population. When they captured and interrogated Sinclair, the Grey Council discovered that Minbari "souls" were being reborn in Humans and called off the war to prevent the deaths of more souls.

Minbari
Their population has been declining slowly for the last two-thousand years. Though the Minbari claim it is the migration of souls, this could mean their genetic pool is stagnating.
So, do you think the mixed race offspring of Humans and Minbari will be the bald-headed being at the end of? Or was JMS strictly saying the Minbari and Humans will both reach Vorlon-level evolution separately as two distinct species?

Edit:
Everything I've posted above is rendered moot by
Question: What about the other races?
JMS: The Minbari eventually make it; the Narn and Centauri do not. They don't die out, they just don't hit a state of First One-ishness, which is darn close to immortality (barring violence).

perhaps the passing into obscurity of the narn relates to their lack of psykers since that material was taken from their gene pool............?
Although the centauri females are gifted with prophecy, that can be as bad as not knowing the future eg cassandra of troy.
hope you guys dont mind me butting in, not seen B5ive in 15yrs but is on fx uk again so am getting back into it

Well, from what we've seen. Having or not having psykers doesn't help one become a first one. We know this from the Shadows. A safe bet is that the Narn just couldn't give up their warlike ways and got glassed by someone. Much the same likely hood of the Centauri.

Which would probably be enough for the Minbari to try and forcibly calm it down.

Maybe they, maybe they did several times. However in the end both the CR and NR died off.
