Indeed, RDA was, by far, what made the series.
I'd advise you to watch it, Mikey, the earlier series particularly as it's a really great show.

"SG-1" is the first TV franchise, right? Sounds like I'll have to check it out. And if the movie can succesfully bring together Kurt Russell and James Spader, that carries some weight, too. They're not love interests, are they?
