If the Caeliar stuff is true I'd like to thank you guys for saving me $20. If the end of its going to be one big Deus Ex Machina I can live without it.

Moved the thread about a Star Trek book into the section for Star Trek books.

Caeliar stuff is true. Ezri Dax was a total bitch. Hernandez came off as a canon-sue. The invasion was 'realistic', and it's good it';s not swept under the rug.... but I effin' hate the concept of the Caeliar.

You hate the concept? There had to be a species 01, you know. Or do you just dislike the execution?

I thought they were more than a bit annoying, myself.
They say that in the Army,
the women are mighty fine.
They look like Phyllis Diller,
and walk like Frankenstein.

Yeah, but that fits the Borg perfectly.

The execution. Yes, there's gotta be a species 01, natch. But having them be the Caeliar rankles me to no end since I hate the Caeliar. And that their attitude, isolationism and arrogance is basically what created the Borg in the first place.

"We could be arrogant pricks and not help you... but nah. Let's get that engine of yours up and running, Erica!"
