Except, as Seafort pointed out, they wouldn't have let the first two go after stealing one of their crew's lungs, so the Viidians as a whole wouldn't know about them.

Plus the Vidiian's may just look towards trading for dead klingons vs having to fight for them. I'd expect the new klingon mini-pire to leave plenty of bodies around.

Good point too. But seeing the Klingons go toe to toe with the Hirogin would have made my day. Two large and physically powerful races that prefer blades and hand to hand combat. Oh yes, there will be blood.

That would have been quite interesting. Depending on the Klingon ship that was lost, such as maybe a K'Tinga, Vor'cha or a K'Vort, the Hirogen would have had to attack en masse to get through. A bird of prey would have been too small and weak to stand up to a massed hunting party. But Hirogen hunter vs. Bird of prey in a one on one? that would have been a sight to see.
