I can't remember what else she wore on the bridge save the catsuit in the first season, couldn't find a decent pic.
First season was a dark tight suit, showing some cleavage, and her hair up in a horrible bun.

I liked the uniform she had in the pilot.

Who knows, best to ignore season one & two anyways. Lots of crap in there, if it wasn't for the uniforms it would almost be a different show afterwards.

Likewise. Sadly those were done away with after a couple episodes. I liked the fact, too, that men could wear those skirt things too. Liberating, so long as Captian Picard closed his legs while in the captain's chair.

I must have a thing for women in uniform because I always preferred Troi and Seven when they were conforming to starfleet dress codes. Much sexier than those absurd catsuits.

Wearing skirts isn't in fact as embarrassing and painful as depicted on this forum, as long as they are 'masculine', not specifically in kilt-ike ways. I think skirts can wor out on a ship, although they'd have to be rather wide at the bottom while not too long, so you won't step on it while walking. Though a kilt-length skirt would be optimal, as you'd have no hindrance of the skirt in that way. Though if you wish, underwear is still an option in Starfleet.
Although the idea of a mandress, especially the ones depicted, still put me off.

The Romans knew how to look pretty kickass wearing skirts.

Indeed they did. There are plenty of cultures around whose males wear (or wore) skirt-like clothing. It's easy enough to do right, it's just that many in western Europe and North America would consider it odd, due to their cultures seeing skirts as predominantly female clothing.

I seem to remember the guy ones flaring out skirt style as opposed to legionnaire style.

Yeah, the early TNG era ones sucked. No doubt about that.

Well Russel Crowe looked pretty manly in his...whatever it was they wore in the arena. TNG's costume designer was just dropped the ball.

Yeah, nothing wrong with a guy in a skirt but the ones TNG had were not the ones you can put a guy in and have it work.

Russel Crowe's chiton was hardly the same thing. The issue was that 'Trek has always been presented from an anglo North American POV, and there's no heritage of kilts, chitons, or anything similar over here.
