STXI activity

Post by stitch626 »

How active do you guys think this forum will be a week after the movies release?

Or this site for that matter?

People still have to actively find it. The movie may bring in a lot of non-Trekkies, but it won't necessarily turn them into Trekkies.

Well, there are about 45 people that are total Warsies that want to go see the new Trek movie. And they say that they got interested in TOS because of the new movie coming out.

From school, and they're like 17/18 and are getting interested in TOS, not TNG, but the original.

Thats encouraging to hear, though I hope the franchise doesn't turn into a shitfactory of bad movie making, to appeal to Star Wars/superhero movie fans. It's by far my biggest fear.
Don't you hear my call, though you're many years away, don't you hear me calling you?

Sorry, what I meant was activity by us talking and debating about the movie.

A couple of friends of mine who've no interest in the show itself have invited me to see it with them over the weekend. So with luck, there's another two converts.

Yeah, I predict an avalanche of "Nero's supership Vs the Scimitar" or "Old E-Nill V New E-Nill" threads.
