There is only one way of avoiding the war – that is the overthrow of this society. However, as we are too weak for this task, the war is inevitable. -L. Trotsky, 1939

Re: Trek/Wars crossover
All this talk makes me want to do a cross over. Which I still think is kind of a silly rule of ours. Aren't all crossovers a bit of a versus discussion? And the site does have a versus story on it
But ah well. I'm trying to think of what would be a good universe to connect Stargate to and I really can't. They kind of stand alone in that. I guess they don't have enough ship and battle confrontations to really stand out but the Stargate itself makes a useful tool to connect itself to any other universe.
Oh and I'd love to see The Doctor on Holy Terra :p

How many Minbari does it take to screw in a lightbulb?
None. They always surrender right before they finish the job and never tell you why.

Re: Trek/Wars crossover
You know this would be a good RP idea. We each pick a hero from a different universe and we throw them into one and they have to work together to get back to their respective universes.
edit: I've done this twice before and it was fun. One where we ended up fighting Jesus and I was the Terminator and we had the WH40k Emperor there and one of the Ninja turtles among others. And another which was a Half-Life Xen invasion of the Star Wars Galaxy.

I think I'd still want to be the original Terminator. Data and him can explore their humanity together! ...wait that sounded gay.

I didn't know you swung that way....
Do you mean, the T800 or T888? Both are good models.

The GEoM? How do you get him in there without him utterly curb-stomping the scenario?Monroe wrote:You know this would be a good RP idea. We each pick a hero from a different universe and we throw them into one and they have to work together to get back to their respective universes.
