He's working from blueprints which certainly makes it easier but that is still a ton of work. I'm curious if he's going to take this to detailing every cabin, jeffries tube, etc.

What kind of crazy are you talking about here? Cool crazy or insane crazy?

I think its crazy cool, but that's just me I guess.

My goal is to do the EE, but there aren't a complete set of blueprints for that. :(

There is a pretty complete set of fan blueprints for the NX-01 so I think I may start with that to get some practice.

I think he is going to detail the interior, but I'm not sure about EVERY Jeffereies tube! :D

It's one thing to get psyched up about a project, but if he finishes, I'll be flabbergasted.

Dude, did you look at the last page?

He's nearly done with 'roughing in' the engineering hull and now he's working on the nacelles.

A worthy, if not overly ambitious project. I'll be interested to see this completed.

How is it overly ambitious? Seems to me as if he's making pretty solid progress so far.

God I wish I knew how to use 3D software like this. :(

I wonder if he can make it fit with the established size of the Big E or if he'll have to do some creative rearranging ala Bob Brown and the Falcon.

I think he is using the 'real' dimensions, I believe he's stated this in the thread somewhere.

EDIT: Should I invite him over here?
