Man, this game sounds like a lot of fun. I doubt I could run it, unfortunately. :?

put it this way, both of my computers are high end, dual core rigs, which can cope with most games (such as the Demon Legacy for instance, which eats computers like a virus). It still couldnt fully cope with E:TW

Well, then my puny 1.8 Ghz Celeron with 2GB of RAM certainly couldn't handle it. I'll pick it up in 2012 or so.

Yes it can. Turn all of your settings all the way down. It still looks awsome... Then go to task manager and the the priority to High. After you install the game, defrag your system.

The biggest problem for the game is the graphics card. Sega didn't put in a good graphics balance like they did in MTW2.

Then you should be ok.

Side note!
The Dutch have over the last 3 or 4 turns declared war on half the world! They keep asking me to go to war with Russia and the Ottomans. First off, I'm allied to the Ottomans. Second, why the fuck would the Dutch want war with Russia? Screw that! I know I'm allied to the Dutch but I think its time to smash them. They're getting to be a lot of trouble that I don't need.

Portugal just declared war with me and launched a first strike against me. They attacked my holding in Spain only to find out it was more then they could handle. Guess its time to clear them out.
