Good one. For those wanting to explore the series even deeper, I heartil recommend pottermore. It's a bit childish in it's setup, but hugely enjoyable.

I need to rewatch the whole series in order and all at once. I never did that.

I did that in the cinema once. Totally worth it.

I have to watch it in order because I never seen any but the first movie more than once. So each movie is separated by the gap between each movie when they were released.

The one thing that sort of annyoed me, but not to a great degree, about the movies whas how a lot of the buildings and things shifted geographically through the movies.

I've read the books, but never seen the movies.

I think the movies are for the most part pretty good but it's pretty clear when they were told to make the style different. The difference in between number 2 and 3 is enormous, similarly the difference between 5 and 6 is quite big as well.

Part of it is WB handicapped themselves by starting the films while new books were still coming out, so new info could influence and even change the outcome of the story. Another factor was that different directors produce different styles and more important perhaps, this is also a coming-of-age story, so the outlook of the world changes anyway.
In-universe, magic is the actual answer. Things just change like that.
