Just finished reading the trilogy again for a second time. A truely fantastic book, great plot, fantastic characters, you pick up even more through the second time as the first time you are kind of wondering what they are talking about for the first bit (daemons?).

And for me the idea that he wrote it to have a go at the Cathloc church and do a anti-Narnia series makes it all the more enjoyable.

Paulman?

Teaosian spelling fixed before it drives me up the wall.

As for the books, I've never read them, but I've always heard they're pretty good.

I've read the series. Intelligent plot, and full of great characters.

And Airships.

And Bears.

I liked the movie; shame they probably won't do the rest of the series. :?

The books were great, never did get to see the movies though. The most depressing thing for me is the fact that all my favorite authors are British as much as I loathe to admit it.

i especially liked what the writer said in contrast to the Harry Potter series. it was something about him not getting the fuss over the Harry Potter series. Given, he has a point. Everyone is whinig about a boy who can do magic, while nobody complained about his idea of killing God. :P
