That's where personal canon comes into play. And right now, this is all we've got for post-Nemesis Star Trek. So, I'm taking it.Mikey wrote:Beat me to it, Seafort. This isn't 'Wars, with it's eighteen tiered heirarchical levels of canon. Paramount gets to say what's canon or not, because they opwn the franchise - and as of now it's this: onscreen=canon, everything else=not.

Which is great. However, when you're discussing matters with someone other than yourself, personal canon doesn't really help.

Well, in debates you have to stick to official canon.
"You've all been selected for this mission because you each have a special skill. Professor Hawking, John Leslie, Phil Neville, the Wu-Tang Clan, Usher, the Sugar Puffs Monster and Daniel Day-Lewis! Welcome to Operation MindFuck!"

Yeah, I know. I'm not talking about debates, though. I'm talking about what I consider to have happened and what I consider for my personl canon. I know the Diane Duane Bloodwing novels aren't canon, but I consider them part of my personal canon.

In that case, include whatever you like. I, personaly, ignore ENT and parts of VOY when it comes to my own view of the universe.
