I really liked Chuck's work here. He took his time and left enough open as to not spoil future work. I think he's going to have a good time with B5 as there are far fewer "What the fuck is wrong with you!" moments that we tend to get out of Trek. Its going to give him a chance to really dive into things with a crowd that's going to enjoy him doing it.

I especially liked his follow up, where he spun about fifty massively profound questions off the episode. B5 was such fun :)

To me, that was always the difference between Trek and B5. B5 attacked topics every episode that Trek would be lucky to reach once a season.

Great episode, here. Hmm, so he's branching out. First Star Trek, then Red Dwarf and now Babylon Five and Doctor Who. I'd almost like to see his take on Captain Power or Space: Above and Beyond.

Or even the Andersonverse. Easily better writing than Enterprise or Voyager, and the later series had far better special effects than TOS, DW, B7, etc.

I am afraid I'm not familiar with that particular 'verse', Seafort. Or perhaps I simply know it under another name. Could you enlighten me, please?

I think S:A&B would be the best choice to follow up B5.
