If you want to turn it over then do so, I've had literally no access to document processing software all weekend. I can get an edited sheet to you by 1.00/2.00 EST but if you are rolling then fine.

Alright, I'm about half way through sheets, i found a quicker way to update everything. There is one additional addition comming this turn I think (assuming no major defects appear in the next few hours of work).

By Player Suggestion I've developed an Outpost Page. Outposts work like Starbases (you design them from the Starbase designer), but rather than being built only over a planet and making that planet a major world, they can be built over minor worlds, or in deep space. These stations can serve as anything from supply depots to border observation to anything you can think up and get approved by me.

Rules on outposts will be coming soon.

Just wanted to let everyone know, sheets are done (finally). Right now I still have to write up SitRep's and the new rules. Unfortunately, I don't think I'll have much time to do that today/tomrorrow so we're looking at getting sheets back out Late Saturday/Sunday.

Some Information on the changes to the sheet:

Now 4 Types of Socio-economic systems: Capitalism, Socialism, Feudalism, and Classism. All of these except Socialism have an additional table that is on the Empire Sheet. Depending on what you are it is functional, informational, or completely for my own benefit in seeing how you are building the empire. I have also expanded/modified the options for most of the other Empire Controls. Everyone has 1 turn to change their options to whatever they want before the cells get locked.

Property Ownership and Heavy Industry are now determined by your Socio Economic system. Capitalism has privately owned property and industry. Feudalism and Classism allow certain sects of the society to own property and Industry and not others thus they are Limited. Finally Socialism is State Controlled.

I have also made some modifications to the R&D section to handle what I considered to be rapid growth far beyond what should have been feasibly possible in terms of emitter power and ROF. Thus:
- Lasers are now considered to start out as MW weapons instead of TW weapons. This means that as you approach 1GW laser power you will be presented with the choice of continuing on with current research or switching to a new form of weaponry.
- Torpedoes research now takes a longer time to complete, and may/may not start to cost more as well. No one has had their ROF adjusted (except for 1 person, but that is due to a different matter); however tubes are not compatible across types; thus this will be reset when you upgrade to Photons (assuming you do).
- Lastly I fixed a glitch in the Sensors that was charging you more than it should have for mulit-year research projects.
- Armor values have been adjusted along with the changing beam power.
- SCR of all ships was adjusted for the now lower Beam weapon power and armor rating.

Sheets are going out. Make sure you look at the Empire Control Options and change any that you want to this year. After this changing them will have IC effects.

Also if anything on the SITREP's doesn't make sense, just ask me....I may have been slightly less sober than would have been advised.

Damn, almost forgot again....

So one more change in regards to economics. You'll notice on the Economics page that certain cells (most of them are new) now have a red user input cell in the C column next to them. Most of these are (or should) be at 1%, and one of them is at 100%.

The one at 100% is (or should be) the Economic Development Expense. at 100% you are paying 100% of the estimated funds required to reinvest into the market for maximal return. You can pay more or less than this value by adjusting the percentage paid up or down from 100%.

The other cells are all optional funding options that have replaced the "Public Works" Empire Control Option. the total paid is the percentage typed of the GDP. Some of these will have direct impacts on economic growth, some will have effects on population growth and control, some are just for fun.
