We would be interested to know something of Breen culture as well.

Any questions toward the Turei will of course be answered as well as possible.

Is it a final working of the people where they no longer need to worry about the difficulties of life or something similar to that?
The after life is that of the judgement of our deeds in life, how a Klingon lives and dies decides their place. Stovokor for those who live with honor, so they may join Kahless in times of battle and times of song. Grethor for those who fail to live and die with honor, so they may suffer eternal shame and humiliation.

The Klingon races is a race of warriors and builders. How would the Turei declare themselves before the galaxy?

That depends on whether you mean our current interests or those of the past.

Traditionally, we have been savage warriors. Our loyalty to our individual spires is absolute, more so even than our loyalty to our family. In the past this has given us plenty reason to commit hateful atrocities toward one another. Indeed, our world is a uniquely diverse place for as much as the ecosystem around the core band is beautiful, and inhabitable, large swathes of desert has been completely irradiated from large scale nuclear warfare. Some spires must now live completely sealed, or underground because of nuclear radiation.

In the eyes of the modern galaxy, we are traders and builders. We trade technology, weaponry, starships. However, we have a strong moral compass and it does guide our actions. Should an injustice be made, we will endeavour to put it right, even at the behest of profit. we are not as unscrupulous and profitable as the likes of the Ferengi, but we hope that our relationship and moral actions can give us good stead among the galaxy.

The Turei sound like an honorable people with great potential to aid in the stabilization of this region.

About our culture: The Breen have always faced a hostile universe with equal hostility; our greatest strength is in our adaptability. The Romulans coined a phase about us, "Never turn your back on a Breen."

We believe this was a projection of their own inability to trust and stand with their allies.

Our civilization is based around extended family structures, or clans, (if you wish to use the human term) in a fairly tight-knit alliance we call the Confederacy. There are dozens of powerful families, and hundreds of lesser ones; each holds territory, and each has families they consider allies or adversaries. The most powerful family is considered to automatically lead the Confederacy, but overall, our people base our lives around the good of the entire Breen race.

We reproduce at what most races in the region would consider a young age, so concern for one's family becomes a larger part of our lives at an earlier point. Dishonoring one's family is unacceptable under any circumstances, and dishonoring the Confederacy is the greatest failure a Breen can experience. Actions to benefit the Confederacy are rewarded with great privileges, and failures are punished by disgrace and harsh penalties.

We offer the utmost loyalty to our allies, and promise very much pain to our enemies.

As we have been doing very little of discussing anything, I would like to throw out a question to all here, what are your highest figure that your species looks to, either as a diety, or something such as Kahless.

We look to an unamed being, one that we know little about truthfully. He has been seen every hundred years, he is almost like a clock for us. He does little for us, but coaxes peace into our tribes. He speaks to the council of our people and when this happens the council is closed to outside inquiries. The reason for such lack of knowledge is that we are told little by the council, they are required to be silent of the occasion.
This could be suggested as a diety, but we do not in whole believe in a deity, but acknowledge that there is a more powerful being over us. We know it is a non-corporeal being, and is similar in type as the Q.

We have more religions and deities than one can remember. For several thousand spires in existent, there can be a hundred gods for each or maybe just one. As such, we elect not to select these as our higher figure.

the person who takes our vote is an individual named Ilyera Kar'aeymii (A mouthful, I know). You may consider him in the regard as remembered like Earth's "Ghandi". Kar'aeymii is the person who managed to bring consensus between our spires, and formulate the government. He reined in a time of republic government, which was soon superseded by a dark time of planetary subjugation. however, Kar'aeymii (who has since become known by the moniker of "Asymi" or "light-bearer") was the first who elevated our races from our self destructive methods.

Early Cardassians were a spiritual, not religous people. We now regard matters of spiritual faith somewhere between skeptisisim and outright disbelief. We look at these things as superstitions...nothing more.

Tret Akleen is credited as the founder of modern Cardassian civilization. He was the first man to seize the reignes of power and take us out into the stars, to save ourselves, back in the early 20th centruy (according to Federation time standards)

The Breen have not had any deities as far back as our written history shows. We see no need to waste time and energy on something we cannot quantify.

That said, we are a somewhat "spiritual" people. We adhere to a strict code of honor, and we do meditate, especially before battle. We have found that it makes our attacks more... focused, and precise.
