It seems pretty poor to be honest. Let's hope Abnett's writing makes up for it.

I'd have to agree. looks little more sophisticated than a minor in game movie.

However, Im sure Abnett does a decent job with the story.

The quality of the animation won't bother me all that much as long as the story's good. It's a minor niggle, but one I'm willing to accept.

True enough, although the success of this movie will either open the door or lock said door for a second or series of WH style movies. And many people are more happy to see glittery graphics than they are to see good storyline.

Seems a little tame by WH standards, just look at the intro to Mark of Chaos or both Dawn of War games. This looks like more of a Firewarrior intro, kind of laid back and slow paced. That would be fine for Eldar or Tau but for space marines I expected a bit more.

Looks really poor imho. The dawn of war 2 intro looked way better, as did the Mark of Chaos or Warhammer onlinie intro. Also the voice acting was a bit poor, sounded almost bored. ("Death will find you soon enough....or not...whatever" )The space marines also look pretty thin imho.
