Anyone else play this? TT(Table Top?) or otherwise?

I run a Imperial Guard Army.

Focused around long range attacks, very little melee. but if I get entrenched you're screwed. ;)

As I had mentioned to Rochey, I played a little longer ago than I care to think of. And on his advice, as soon as I finish All Tomorrow's Parties, I intend to check out some of the books.

Necramunda? you mean the Necrons?

No its a subgame of Warhammer 40k. Takes place in the same universe on the planet Necromunda. You control only squadrons though. You design your own gang and fight other gangs. There aren't any alien races but since its in the warhammer universe you can build those in if you want.

I'd love to but it's very expensive and I'm in the ass end of no where with no one to play against.

I'm so out of the loop. All I can remember from back in the day was Marines and Eldar. And I don't know of much going on in my neck of the woods, either. Buy I may have to do some digging... you guys have piqued my curiosity.

you can buy an entire army from anywhere from 1000-4000 points on ebay for like 100-500 dollars, which in the later end is still pretty cheap, as most games are either 1500 points or 2000 points(or if you play the new apocalypse, 3500 minimum, and you can use things like the Titans.)

I'd rather spend those five hundred dollars on fifty Black Library novels.

Agreed, Kendall. I spend most of my 40K related time reading, nowadays.
I should really break out the paint again...

I run a Tau army plus an Imperial Fleet for gothic. I also have two armies for LOTR and i've been thinking about getting into Warhammer since i'd like to use orks, empire or ogres.

OK, I done some reading... boy, things done changed since "Rogue Trader"...

Now I'm really looking forward to to picking up a compilation of the PC games. I always liked the backstory, etc., but I don't have the money, patience, time, or skill to continue to collect and paint miniatures. Problem solved!

As far as some of the new things since I was on the block, these Necron dudes seem to be total, unabated a**-kickers, huh?
