Black Templars Codex page 42.

They count as 3 twin linked bolters.

Yeah, since they're treated as normal bolters for the measure of stats. They only gave them a short nod in the Land Raider Crusader brief.

I started backwards. I just wanted to build the models, then decided I wanted to play. So I have the pocket rulebook from the Black Reach set and the SM Codex is on my "buy list."

Yeah, some pretty good updates to the SM Codex. Makes them a lot more diverse which is what they needed.

Good. I'm going all mechanized, so I'll not get by without a Codex for much longer if I want to start cooking up Army lists. Mind you its just to play against my son.

The Codex Collection is one of the funnest parts. You don't have to have the army, if you have the codex you can just wonder into a store and borrow someone elses army.

I have a pretty good idea what I want anyways, and I have cash to burn so I may as well buy them. I rather like assembling the models, there quite fuss free.
