Andromeda is literally the closest galaxy to ours, unless you count the Magellenic clouds. Why wouldn't there be a Gate network there?

Sorry.....when I said gate network I was referring to the "gate bridge" set up for SG:A. Maybe I misunderstood........but if your asking if the galaxy will be seeded with Stargates as are the Milky Way and Pegesus, then yes.

I thought he was a compelling character, logical for why he would be placed on the SG-team.
