I'll be getting one as soon as I settle down into a place of my own. Although the green might make the morning after hang over shower a bit unpleasant.

That was actually my thought for power, given how little you actually need. No moving parts is a good thing as well.

Well it does run off a turbine which apparently does create a hum according to some reviews.

That's what I thought as well. :)

Should be here in a month; I'll update and let everyone know how well it does or doesn't work.
Thanks. :)

All I can think of is the following potential convesation:

"Wanna go out tonight?"
"Nah, I'm just gonna dose some MDMA and take a shower again."

I was trying to find this damn thread; it works perfectly so far.

Cold, warm, hot.

It's great; I just turn the bathroom light off when I shower now. Although, it naturally goes off when the water is turned off, so...

Not AT ALL. After some of the reviews, I was expecting a really loud whine or something, but it just sounds like a shower; water hitting tiles and tub.

Also (something you can't see from the pics), it's like showering in the wormhole from Stargate, or a time vortex, or some such. It looks freakin' cool. :)

For $9 in total, I'd say it was worth checking out. I hope it lasts.

Considering LEDs last forever and only 1 moving part I can see it lasting a few years.

Does it really shed enough light to see naturally by? I mean, like a regular overhead white light? It sure does like pretty cool, and seems like it would be pretty neat-o for showers for two; but I have to watch my injections sites, my wife shaves (because, you know, she's not French,) etc. Is it bright enough for that?

Possibly not bright enough for shaving. It's pretty freaking bright, though; about the same as my energy saver bulbs, only colored.

Admit it, though - it's probably cool as hell for getting busy in the shower.
