I can honestly say I prefer American deep dish pizza to the thin Italian ones.

Please don't tell me you do not mean places like Pizza Hut or Papa Johns.

Hey, Pappa John's is just fine for 50% off everything everytime the Yankees win with 6 or more runs.

My faviorite though is this place called 4 Brothers. I only know of 3 of them between Conneticut and NY. Excelent pizza, though when it first comes out its too hot to eat... I do anyway.

There's a ton of 3 Brothers down the shore here, but I they aren't a chain.

Anyone ever notice that many local pizza places are named Geno's?

Seconded... Though I assume that's non-cybernetic deep-dish pizzas?

Naturally. I just find the deep dish more satisfying, especially if they use nice bread with infused flavor. Thin crust is to insubstantial.

I don't normally shill products, but Domino's new hand-made pan pizza is awesome. The dough is different; it's airy but robust. Plus the shredded provolone + mozzarella... it's really good. At least it is at my store.

Dominos is garbage along with Papa Johns and Pizza Hut. Go local, about 95% of the time they are better. Though there is a joint by me that makes soggy thin crust pizza with non flavored cheese. They have been around for twenty years and I have no clue how they haven't been forced out of business.

Different tastes. I prefer the generic chain store pizza when I want a big, heavy satisfying meal to fill me up or kill a hang over. When I want to eat out or with people I get a more specialised one.

I mostly agree with this. Around here, Brothers pizza is great; I miss a little joint called Favorite's that had artichoke hearts as a topping (artichoke, spinach, feta cheese, mushrooms and sundried tomatoes makes a great pie). Great pizzas, great topping selection.

I like feta cheese on my pies. I did once have a feta and bleu cheese pie and that was excellent. But then again anything with bleu cheese is good.
