Sadly I don't have a link to it. But its temp name is Ununcentium or some such-- whatever Latin is for 117. Anyway pretty cool stuff. I wonder what the upper limits an element can actually get to under current theories.

That's standard practice - they name all elements by their Latin atomic number as a placeholder until someone comes up with a permanent name for them. Why they don't simply name them "Element 117", "Element 118", etc, I don't know.

If an element is discovered in a thousand years maybe it'll get an English name as a place holder. And aye its just a temporary name. It was discovered by a joint US-Russian research team so maybe something along those lines. Let's just hope its not called Peacium or something equally as retarded :P
