Nuns
Very old joke:
Two nuns in the bath.
One says: "Where's the soap?"
The other says: "Yes it does, doesn't it"

Isnt the line "Where's the soap?"
What does defeat mean to you?
Nothing it will never come. Death before defeat. I don’t bend or break. I end, if I meet a foe capable of it. Victory is in forcing the opponent to back down. I do not. There is no defeat.

I think its a joke that works best when told aloud. I first saw it written down and didnt get the joke, when said out loud the play on words is more obvious.

Another hint. The spelling of all the words, while completely accurate, may not be as expected by all parties.

Sigh.
There is only one way of avoiding the war – that is the overthrow of this society. However, as we are too weak for this task, the war is inevitable. -L. Trotsky, 1939

I get the pun... just missing the humor. I guess it's like most knock knock jokes... word pun, but the humor is hard to find.

It's not just word pun. The fact that it's nuns also makes it funny.Jim wrote:I get the pun... just missing the humor. I guess it's like most knock knock jokes... word pun, but the humor is hard to find.
