Trying to figure out what is so funny about that white power pic. Equal rights for whites? As opposed to what they got now?

I guess it's ironic that there are people who think whites don't already have equal rights.

You can argue white people have more rights or at least the 'equal rights' applies more readily to them as opposed to other races.

I am kinda curious on what rights the other races have, whites don't have though. Equal opportunity? Is that really affecting white people that much? Doubt it.

A racist would probably talk about affirmative action as special rights that non-white people have. If you look into those kind of circles, it's an article of faith with them that affirmative action is the only reason any non-white person achieves anything much at all.

Which is my point. It's really the only thing you can argue about 'equal rights' however it has been statistically proven that a non traditional (read: not European) name will be passed over a more traditional.

White Power is just more about people losing their dominance to someone different than them. One aspect at least.

Annoyed with all the Black Friday stuff when the point of it is to keep stores selling things despite thanksgiving usually making people hard-up...
Because I'm in the frickin UK, we dont HAVE thanksgiving. And those 'AMAZ|IONGASDLF DEALS'? Uh... 20 percent off a 100 pound thing we'll never use is still 80 quid down the drain.

Ha, Oddly I can think of a fair few scenarios where the mother WOULD want a DNA test - "Hang on, this girl/boy didn't grow up looking like either of us, and has <insert dominent-gene colored hair here> that neither of us have, did they bring the wrong baby back from the newborns ward?"

You know that scene in Matilda at the start, the montage of her being 'chosen' and then growing up? That first bit, with all the babies. Also, separated at birth, mom comes and thinks "hang on I don't remember being disloyal to my hubby of the same skin color, is that a tan/is this kid a shut in/etc but maybe yesnoIdunno DNA test."
