The most unintentionaly hilarious lines

Post by Sionnach Glic »

I recently stumbled across the following quote from the old '66 Batman movie, and felt it was too good not to share with you guys:

[Batman, Robin, Commissioner Gordon, and Chief O'Hara consider which supercriminal might have been behind the fake yacht and exploding shark attack.]
Gordon: Could be any one of them, but which one? W- which ones?
Batman: Pretty fishy what happened to me on that ladder.
Gordon: You mean, where there's a fish, there could be a Penguin.
Robin: But wait! It happened at sea! See? "C" for Catwoman!
Batman: Yet... an exploding shark was pulling my leg!
Gordon: The Joker!
O'Hara: [It] all adds up to a sinister riddle. Riddle-er. Riddler?
Gordon: Oh! A thought strikes me! So dreadful I scarcely dare give it utterance.
Batman: The four of them. Their forces combined...
Robin: Holy nightmare!
Gordon: Penguin, Joker, Riddler... and Catwoman, too! The sum of the angles of that rectangle is too monstrous to contemplate!
Batman: We've been given the plainest warning. They're working together to take over...
O'Hara: Take over what, Batman? Gotham City?
Batman: Any two of them would try that!
Gordon: The whole country?
Batman: If it were three of them, I would say yes, but four? Their minimum objective must be... the entire world.

That's just...brilliance.
So what line(s), meant to be serious, from any movie or TV show made you laugh?

This one's from RL. A friend of a friend - a woman who was known for, ummm, relaxed morality, was talking to a third mutual friend who was considering transferring to our college. When the third party mentioned how he was going to miss his swimming/diving/water polo/whatever team, this girl answered that it was alright, because "water sports are big at Rutgers."

Wasn't meant to be serious though.

Yeah, this is for lines that were meant seriously, but ended up hilarious just by accident.

Can't remember. I do know it's the one with the Bat Shark Repellent.

From Trolls 2:

"They're eating her! And then they're going to eat me! OH MY GOOOOOOOOOOD!"

From Tough Guys Don't Dance:

"Oh man! Oh God! Oh man! Oh God! Oh man! Oh God! Oh man! Oh God! Oh man! Oh God!"

From Mortal Kombat: Annihilation:

Kitana: Mother! You're alive!
Sindel: Too bad YOU... will die!
