The Museum Of Bad Art

Post by Tsukiyumi »

I'm sorry, I just find this hilarious.

I'd totally go to this museum.

Hmm... they should rename the place. It should be called "The museum of objective subjectivity". In other words who is in charge of saying what is good art and bad art. I'm told the 'purpose' of art is to make you think about it. From what I can see this does just that, making it good art.

That was, in fact, part of why I found this hilarious. :)

No, art doesn't actually exist. As we all know, the purpose of art is to hold up a mirror to nature, and there is no mirror nearly big enough (standard cookie award applies.)

Anyway, I'm there - the article said they serve fluffernutter sandwiches at their shows!

That stuffs better than some of the stuff real art gallerys have.
What does defeat mean to you?

Nothing it will never come. Death before defeat. I don’t bend or break. I end, if I meet a foe capable of it. Victory is in forcing the opponent to back down. I do not. There is no defeat.

And they're obviously not pretentious tight-asses, like most gallery types.

I think fluffernutters are a Northeastern thing.

I'd never even heard of them until you mentioned it.

That said, we do have marshmallow cream in stores here, so I may have to buy some. :)

I wonder, do they have the dogs playing pool and poker paintings?
They say that in the Army,
the women are mighty fine.
They look like Phyllis Diller,
and walk like Frankenstein.

It's a peanut butter and marshmallow creme sandwich.

Up here we've got fluffernutters, and down in the South they've got peanut butter and banana sandwiches. :P
