I *squee* partly because I'm excited for the film, but also because I am now (as I did with TFA) taking my son to see SW films at little more than the age at which I was taken to see the original screening of ANH. I can't think of any other franchise that has that cross-generational link. Yes, I know TMP came out in '79 compared to ANH in '77, but I can't honestly compare notes with my son on the Star Trek action figures I had in my day, now can I?
