Just how much firepower in TeraWatts do you guys think the Death Star had? Somewhere around 7,500,000 TeraWatts?

Approximately 1.2E34W. 1,200 billion billion terawatts. Blowing up planets, especially when you do it as violently as the Death Star does, takes an awful lot of bang.

At least twice as much as you need to send a Delorian back in time.

About the same power it takes to blow up a chunk of fake asteroid and fake planet. But the calculations get fuzzy after CGI is introduced. So whatever power it takes to generate a CGI shot I guess.

Honestly, anywhere from the power to scorch plastic to the power to blow up a planet.

Well the computer that did the CGI would run around 200 Watts or so...? :)

Well, if that's the case, I'd say 9,999,999,999 TeraWatts then XP haha

Does that mean the Death Star travels at 44mph?

If a parsec if a unit of time, then yeah, sure.

Ah, you've learned Han's secret, Teaos!

It uses the power of plot.

It's how I view most franchises. Power of plot causes a lot fewer headaches for me. ;)
