Enterprise in the Star Wars version.

Post by Meste17 »

I wonder, if the Enterprise was a starship in Star Wars, I wonder what side she would be on and what class? Hmmmm......I am willing to entertain suggestions. ;)

I am sure in a English speaking universe the word Enterprise would be used for a ship. Doubtful that ship will be as famous in that universe as it would be in Star Wars though. Perhaps a corvette type ship.

Well we have to avoid vs debates around here. But considering Federation ships are just physically small, the Enterprise wouldnt be signifigant at all in terms of size and crew. In a universe where size does seem to matter, the Enterprise is just to small.

From a Star Trek type ship point of view yes. However, I saw on a Star Wars fanon website where the Enterprise was possibly an Executor class super star destroyer. Here is the wiki link:

Granted this is FANON, but......well you know.

Link fail...

The Enterprise is a vessel of exploration, research and diplomacy. Three things that neither the Empire nor the Rebellion have much interest in. Therefore, I think that the Enterprise would belong to a "neutral" third party. Not a third power, just a race/group that did their own thing. They would be the Switzerland of the SW Universe. The opposite of the Hutts.

God, when Patrick Stewart hosted Saturday Night Live there was a sketch about the Enterprise being turned into a cruise liner!

Yeah. His opening monologue was "I was a closet Trekkie when I was growing up!" and he proceeds to butcher a whole lot of info. Pretty funny IMHO.

The sketch I remember most is the one about erotic cakes. To be truthful I barely remember it. There was a cake with anal sex on it I think.
