I think Mythbusters found that to be false actually.

No they found dodging a sniper to be false. A handgun is much different than a sniper.

No, they found catching an arrow to be impossible, which is what was being talked about. I thought, although it's always confusing which quotes are pointing to which ideas, haha.

Oh, I don't remember that ep, but I'm sure I missed a few.

Ahem.

From what I understand about Mythbusters, they aren't always right.

Anyways, possible and likely are two different things.

.45 ACP travels at around 800 feet per second. A .308 rifle round travels at around 2,600 fps. Hell of a difference.

Still way WAY beyond human reaction time.
What does defeat mean to you?

Nothing it will never come. Death before defeat. I don’t bend or break. I end, if I meet a foe capable of it. Victory is in forcing the opponent to back down. I do not. There is no defeat.

The argument was that blaster bolts could be dodged, but bullets can't. .45 ACP is about as fast as the high-end blaster rounds we see in the films. I'll repeat, you can see the bullet in flight. Also, by dodge, I don't mean matrix-style limboing under bullets; I mean reflex twitch to the side from A bullet. From any less than 50 feet, it probably couldn't be done at all, but I maintain that it is theoretically possible for someone with reflexes at the high-end of human capabilities.

Also only some blasters were slow. True anti infantry MG style and minigun style blaster's bolts were really fast. Even Jedi had trouble with them.
