You'd expect something like that to have been built just going by ANH. And again, the first Death Star was a distinct improvement on it.

The world devestators were very impressive, a different sort of scary but scary non the less. The sun crusher was as you said stupid and isnt there a galaxy gun in one of the series?
What does defeat mean to you?

Dark Empire, same as the WDs and Eclipse.
