I am just happy that Lucas won't have nothing to do with the project.

The statement "won't have nothing" is a double negative - it's a statement that he will have something to do with the new films. Which is a good thing, given that Lucas is very good at the high-level conceptual stuff, even if he can't write decent dialogue and is a bit hit-and-miss as a director.

Ok, there is double negative in spanish too but is not a problem in that particular phrase, i don't know why.

About your claim on Lucas, i'm not going to start an argument on that.
