Family Guy Strikes Back!
Well, Family Guy's take on TESB has aired. Anyone else see it yet? It is, IMHO, a perfect example of how to combine pointed parody and homage, along with fourth-wall performance and some general non-sequitur silliness.

It was good, I got a real kick out of it and Brian's right, he is wearing Han's clothes. Kinda freaky.

Thats been out for a while now...
Anyway, why the heck is he wearing Han's cloths?!

I dunno, but it's really freaking creepy now that I've noticed it.

Yeah, once you notice it you just can't stop thinking about it...

I actually have. I acknowledge it happens, and it is never explained, but I simply chose not to dwell on it. Everything is much better that way.Nickswitz wrote:Yeah, once you notice it you just can't stop thinking about it...

Or they were actually Lando's clothes, which he lost along with the MF in that ill-fated, rarely mentioned Sabacc game, and he felt nostalgic when he stepped in the MF, and put his old clothes back on...

Re: Family Guy Strikes Back!
I wanted to be sure, so I watched the end of TESB last night, and while his clothes do look like Han's, the shirt has a pointed collar, while Han wears one with a different type of collar.
See here:
Lando
Han
They look a lot alike, but there does seem to be a slight difference...
Notice how even the vest seems to fall differently on their shoulders.
Maybe they both wear their own versions of the Smuggler's uniform, per the Smuggler's Dress Code...

Re: Family Guy Strikes Back!
#1 - Han's shirt would fall like Lando's if fastened at the throat... like Lando's. #2 - That pic of Han looks like ANH Han, not TESB Han.

Well, not the shirt in the picture I linked to (look at the shape of the points from the collar) in ANH, but you're right about Han's shirt in TESB:

Well, to be fair Landon DID flee from Bespin with literally only the clothes on his back.
