I think at this point you could probably divide the EU up into time periods. Maybe pre and post YV or something like that.
Re: Favourite Character?
That'd be good. I gave up after they started turning people into walking force bugs.
They say that in the Army,
the women are mighty fine.
They look like Phyllis Diller,
and walk like Frankenstein.

I gave up on the post-RotJ EU sometime around the middle of the NJO. I gave up on the EU entirely when Travis came around.
How many of them did we see for any length of time? They're the bad guys. Aside from some expository scenes, we only see them when they're getting shot at.Mark wrote:I've got to disagree with you there, Rochster. IMO the OT imps were seriously one dimensional (not that one got enough screen time to develop), but at least in the EARLY EU, they were fleshed out a bit.

Well, that guy in the detention block had a few lines before they shot him

Not to mention Admiral Piett.
Oh, I have no idea what his name was, but the guy from ANH. On the Tantive IV who stood up to Vader. "HOlding her is dangerous." And what did Vader do? Take his advice! Holy shit!

Vader was arrogant. Had he LISTENED and just killed her then, its possible the Empire would still be around.

Lt. Kettch.
EU Boba Fett
Wedge
Wes Jason
R2-D2
Tenel Ka
Booster Terrik
Can't say I like one more than the others, for I like them all for very different reasons.

Tenel Ka I liked. Then again I liked the entire Force Witch culture idea... though not so much the giant worm eating.

Yes, Tenel Ka has this quality of ass-kicking about her...
