OMG! Just drop it you poor little cry baby... Do you need a bottle or something? You have to be the dumbest fucking mod alive. The person you're talking with and another mod have both called for you to give it a rest. Take a hint. The topic is over. We are moving on.
Can we just lock this thread or something?

Look on the (sort of) bright side Deep - this will probably go down in DITL history as the most pointless debate the forum's ever had.

More pointless than magic headbands that don't really don't do anything?
They say that in the Army,
the women are mighty fine.
They look like Phyllis Diller,
and walk like Frankenstein.

One of Blackstar's more stupid moments. I think you were AWOL at that point, as you didn't join in the dog pile......uh, I mean debate, that resulted from that.
Read and be amused.
Short version: Blackstar's pet species are also telepaths. Aparently, their government prevents the whole issue of people reading each others' minds by giving the people headbands and telling them that they prevent telepathy from being used. In reality, however, the headbands do nothing, yet are still somehow an effective deterent against mind-reading.
It's as stupid as it sounds.

The idea was that they worked because everyone believed they would work. The stuff was woven into buildings and clothing as well.
The fact that people would routinely read people's thoughts because they didn't realize that they were behind this stuff, and then subsequently realize that the stuff was therefore not what it was claimed to be, apparently never occurred to anybody in the entire population, ever.

To be fair: if Blackstar was a typical example, then mass idiocy could be a justified reasoning.GrahamKennedy wrote:The idea was that they worked because everyone believed they would work. The stuff was woven into buildings and clothing as well.
