As you wish. But I AM going to ask you all to again stay as close to your prescribed personalities as possible. As it will make things a bit more difficult. Try to remain in character as best you can. Please take any OOU comments or whatnot to the comments thread. I'm still working on the opening. Everybody should be hearing from me shortly.

Quick question: what's the setting? Specifically location and time period.
For example if a person were a soldier, they shouldn't talk about WWII in the 1800's.

And thanks everyone for the welcome. :)

The year is 1950, on the (then) sparsely settled isle of Kauai in the soon to be state of Hawaii.

The most isolated place I could think of that I'm familiar with.

Nice reason.

Kauai is STILL one of the most underdeveloped islands in the chain. Back then you may as well have been stranded with Gilligan and the Skipper.

Figure a beautiful garden isle with no highway and all two lane back roads. And that's TODAY!

That's a big assumption, Uzu.

Anyhow, regardless of gender, welcome to the DITL forum, Abby. :)

Thank you. And yes, I'm a woman. So only four of us? I love being a minority.
