M'lady, your fowling piece may not have been much help anyways. Does anyone have any muskets for hunting, or pistols?

We must organize our defense as well as keep our supplies of food and water available.

I've got a quite serviceable pitchfork, from baling at the old Stitch estate, and a solid if heavy scythe.

I wonder why you're so keen to keep us abroad when these... things are about, though.

As I suggested, Mister Mikey, we should remain cautious and observant, but we will need food and other necessities. If I were to go board up my shop today, how long until you all sat by the nubs of your candles at night, wishing for more light?

We must work together, and we must not allow our fears to cloud our judgment.

Well, you said one thing right - unclouded judgement is EXACTLY what we need.

Don't these things only come out during the night, so I think it's perfectly safe to walk about in Broad daylight.

You may be right, but we must not assume anything. At the least, we should tell others before any of us goes off alone.

Well, Mr. Tskui....if I may call you that, I have enough meat in the cold larder to last my tavern for several more days. And, I must confess.......enough dried goods to hold the village for several weeks if plain fare is all that is required. After the last war, I began laying in a small store. And of course, I have ample beer, ale, and wine. All which will be served with only a SLIGHT mark up.

As for defense.......

Your more than welcome to stay here my dear. I know JUST where to put you.

I would be perfectly happy to pay your "mark"-up, sai. But if the rest of us close our businesses, some of us will not survive.

Well, I wouldn't mind opening my doors to as many as could fit. Bed rolls COULD be laid in the commons, free of charge for the duration of the crisis. T'would be a fairly effective way of keeping tabs on one another.

:::begins nervously wiping at an imaginary spot on the bar with a bar rag:::

And there IS something to be said for having so many lovely ladies where I can easily keep my eye on them as well.

Calm yourself Marky boy. I plan on staying in sight, then whoever it is won't have a chance to trick me up.

I just don't know what to do. I'm not very good in these kind of situations. I'll do my best to keep the farm going; a few crops 'll be commin in soon. But I won't be lookin forward to tonight. I don't own a gun.

So, you do not even own a pistol to keep foxes away from your livestock?

Thats what the dog is for. But she wouldn't do good against these monsters. And I can't lose her too.

I only wish a certain Foxx would be interested in MY livestock.
