Sorry to bring back an old topic, but it occurred to me to wonder whether the Abramsverse Starfleet is staffing it's ships with midgets in light of the measurement based on a presumed height for a man.

Well, if that's the case "Where No Man Has Gone Before" refers to a Men's Big and Tall clothing shop...
