It isn't "Star Trek XI", and it doesn't have a subtitle - they're just calling it "Star Trek".

As for the engineering hull it isn't just too small - it's a misshapen lump.

Oh that's right...

lol

Overall I don't think it looks that bad, I just don't care that much for the curved nacelle pylons.

And did I read somewhere the bussard collectors glow BLUE?!?! :?

Probably. The ship seems to have a whole blue/white colour scheme going on.

Much better than the plain white ickyness of the original E-nil IMO... :?

EDIT: Hull color I mean, like the TMP Enterprise and the Enterprise A.

I liked the plain white ickyness. :P
I'm with Seafort, the e hull is badly done.
I also don't like the nacelles, just plain ugly IMO.

Of course. :D
As for the OP, it does bring a glimmer of hope.
At least we may be able to expect some normal timeline movies (maybe the crew want to examine the other series before doing one).

I'm still waiting and hoping for a DS9 movie.

I'd love to see it, but there'd be some hurdles to overcome. It would have to be set during the course of the show, as afterwards Sisko was gone, O'Brien went back to Earth, etc. Since most of the events pertaining to the war and involving the heroes were already depicted, there's a good chance that a film would have to be based around some one-off or seemingly inconsequential event.

I can't see it happening. DS9 was the high-water mark of the TNG-era of Trek, and the mess that was Voyager, Enterprise and Nemesis saw off that era for good. Plus, WTLB tidied up the series well, unlike AGT which gave TNG a good send-off, and bookended the series, but didn't come to any kind of sweeping conclusion in the same way as DS9.

Aye, a DS9 movie would require the series to be opened again, and then closed in the space of a couple of hours.

Sisko DID promise to return. It could have taken awhile is all. Circumstances could put the crew back on DS9, then Sisko joins them for the plot of the movie..................and go from there. Wouldn't be TOOO hard to do.

I'm guessing they had several designs before settling on one. I'd like to see the others.
What does defeat mean to you?

Nothing it will never come. Death before defeat. I don’t bend or break. I end, if I meet a foe capable of it. Victory is in forcing the opponent to back down. I do not. There is no defeat.

I disliked the whitewash effect of the E-nil. I like this new one, although it is a bit like a spaceborne trendy cafe

Well, as long as they serve sushi, that's fine with me. :D
