On Dec. 14, the first nine minutes of J.J. Abrams’ “Star Trek: Into Darkness” will find its way onto 500 Imax screens playing “The Hobbit.”

The rest of the movie hits screens in May.

I'm intrigued and excited to see what they've come up with...

Hey, that trick did great for The Dark Knight Rises, and that was only six minutes. Maybe Star Trek will do half again as well!

So it's out in May, eh? I'll be quite interested to see how this one goes.
